On March 18th, 2026, the second entry in The Ledger of Survival will be released.

Between the Wounded and the Living continues the record where the first volume ended — moving deeper into deployment, deeper into consequence, and deeper into the lived space between casualty calls. This book is centered on the second rotation, where experience had begun to replace novelty, but certainty had not yet taken hold. It is written from inside the patrols, the outposts, and the long hours where medicine, exhaustion, and responsibility overlapped.

This volume carries both weight and humanity. It documents the violence that marked the deployment, the Marines who did not make it home, and the cumulative pressure that built patrol after patrol. But it also preserves the other side of those days — the dark humor, the stupidity born of fatigue, the small moments of relief that made survival possible even when nothing else felt stable.

Like the first book, this is not written as reflection or analysis. It is written as lived memory — immediate, grounded, and unfiltered. The intent remains the same: to record what was carried, without softening it.
